The 54-year-old father who is alleged to have raped his 11-year-old stepdaughter between 1st January 2006 to 31st December 2006 has admitted in court that he had touched the girl.
During cross examination by state lawyer Meli Vosawale, he said that he cannot remember which part of the body he had touched.
Vosawale suggested to the man that when he saw there was no other adult in the house, he took the opportunity and had sex with his stepdaughter.
The man replied that he did not have sex with his stepdaughter at anytime.
He denied all the allegations put to him in court.
The 54-year-old man is charged with one count of rape and two counts of indecent assault.
