Family travels far to catch a glimpse of Fiji 7s team in Labasa

A 25-year-old man from Savusavu left his home early this morning just to be at the Olympic gold celebration in Labasa town today.

Naibuka Toloi says that his sister and two of their nephews left Savusavu after midnight last night looking forward to meeting the 7s heroes.

Toloi says that they could not wait to go down to Labasa after hearing that the celebration will be held at Subrail park.

The Fiji Rugby Men's 7s team parade will begin at 10.30am from Y corner to Subrail Park via Nasekula road to Park street.

Our gold medal winning team is expected to arrive at Subrail Park in the next hour.

Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama and Fiji Men's Rugby 7s captain Osea Kolinisau will speak at Subrail Park.

Subrail Park has now opened.
