Investigation into the circulation and sale of fake tabuas continues.
Deputy CEO of iTaukei Affairs, Apakuki Kurusiga said the ministry is trying to find out the origin of the fake whales tooth.
Kurusiga said they have requested members of the public to come forward if they have any information regarding this matter.
He said some people have forwarded the fake tabua to the ministry as part of an awareness to stop the circulation and sale of the fake tabuas.
He added the ministry will also hold talks with the Police to look for ways to address the problem.
The issue has been highlighted after one of the fake tabua was presented to the Prime Minister, Voreqe Bainimarama while on an official engagements in Tailevu earlier this year.
The fake tabua is made out of fibreglass and is usually lighter than the real one.
