She says the second incident also reported last Thursday was at a supermarket in Ba and a fake $20 note was received by the cashier from a 44-year-old woman.
Naisoro says a fake $50 note with the same serial number was produced at the Ba Market surfaced at the Nausori Market.
She says a market vendor received the fake note from a couple and his neighbour discovered the note to be a counterfeit.
On Monday, another $50 counterfeit note with the same serial number was discovered by a cashier of a supermarket in Nausori when balancing her sales.
All cases are still being investigated.
