FRCA undertakes Data Cleansing Project to update all Taxpayer Registration Information

The Fiji Revenue and Customs Authority is currently undertaking a Data Cleansing Project to update all Taxpayer Registration Information.

FRCA’s CEO, Visvanath Das says this initiative is undertaken in line with FRCA’s strategy to modernize its processes and systems and to provide efficient taxpayer services.

He says this will enable online lodgements, payments, real‑time updates and access to their tax information will be made possible in future with the introduction of a robust Online Taxpayer Portal.

Das adds as they have a very large group of taxpayers and data cleansing will be done in phases and they will begin this exercise with Companies.
