“The commissioning of the new office will enable the Fiji Revenue and Customs Authority to uplift its customer service at the wharf to another level.”
That was highlighted by Chief Executive, Jitoko Tikolevu during the commissioning at Walu Bay today.
Tikolevu said those who use to come for clearance of cargo and other consignments had to move from one office to another within the wharf vicinity.
However he said all the services will be provided under one roof which will save time and money.
The new office will also provide space to Ministry of Health and Immigration officials after renovation within two to three months.
He added that they will also have new FIRCA offices in Nausori and Ba.
Fiji Ports Corporation Limited CEO, Vajira Piyasena said FRCA is an important stakeholder to them and as such the relationship between the two organizations are very strong.
