Fiji Roads Authority’s Chief Executive Officer Jonathan Moore has confirmed that FRA will be conducting traffic management training for their sub-contractors.
The CEO had earlier stated that upon his arrival in Fiji he had noticed that traffic management was not done as it should be.
Moore confirms that the training will begin at the end of this month with 140 participants.
Moore says everybody who is involved in road traffic management has been informed about this training.
He says Water Authority of Fiji, Fiji Electricity Authority, Land Transport Authority and Telecom Fiji Limited have also been given opportunities to send representatives for this training.
The training will last for three months.
Moore had earlier stated that this training will ensure the person assigned to manage traffic knows what he/she is doing.
