The Fiji Roads Authority in support of those that are going through tough times has paid a visit to the Colonial War Memorial Hospitals Oncology Unit.
FRA’s Chief Executive Officer Jonathan Moore says that they appreciate some patients are having a really tough time and they wanted to help put a smile on their faces, particularly at this time of year.
He says the staff raised $500 from which they bought gift packs made of toiletries and other essentials for the patients.
The CEO says this visit is part of their corporate social responsibility and they will be carrying out similar activities in the Western and Northern Division.
CWM Hospitals Acting Head of Oncology, Dr Kelera Sakumeni says they are enormously grateful for the kind gifts.
