FRA completes roadworks on various sections in Naitasiri

Fiji Roads Authority has completed roadworks on various sections in Naitasiri improving access and safety for thousands of people.

FRA General Manager Central Division Aram Goes says these sites were programmed for upgrade works to provide more reliable all weather access and improve journey times to these populated and frequently traveled communities in the Naitasiri province. 

Goes says the works targeted specific hill sections that were difficult to access by buses, along with school frontages and several surrounding villages to treat dust nuisance, improving the living conditions and overall well being of the communities.

He said in total 4.3km of new sealed road was constructed.
