Students will learn from some of the best in the field of creative arts in the country when they participate in a one day workshop focusing on the Tadra Kahani with Connect Poster Art Competition at the Fiji National University.
FNU is partnering with Tadra Kahani with Connect for the first time and will have a one day workshop for the top ten students participating in this year’s competition.
Total Event Company Manager Loretta Jackson said this is a good opportunity for the students to get hands on experience on design and art with the available facilities and qualified lecturers to guide them.
Jackson said the top ten students will be participating in the workshop to bring their artwork to life in a full size poster.
She added the winning poster will then become the face of Tadra Kahani with Connect this year.
Jackson also said the top ten could be from anywhere in Fiji therefore they will arrange for the students transport to Fiji National University’s School of Creative Arts campus in Raiwai for the one day workshop.
Jackson said the competition is open to students in Fiji between the age of six and nineteen.
Cathedral Secondary, Blue Light Fiji, LDS College, Gospel High School, Ballantine Memorial School, Gau Secondary School, Sigatoka Methodist College, Ba Methodist High School, Swami Vivekananda College and Lomary Secondary School will take part in Tadra Kahani with Connect 2014 at the Vodafone Arena on the 14th of August.
