The Fiji National University Students Association Elections has kicked off at all four participating campuses in Fiji.
Fijian Elections Office Returning Officer Mesake Dawai who is also overseeing the elections says that 120 votes have been cast at the four polling stations from 8am to 10am today.
He adds that they expect the number to increase later today as classes are running with the elections.
Dawai says that the Fijian Elections Office is financing the elections and they have budgeted ten to twenty thousand dollars.
They are expecting 3,300 voters.
He says that they will be announcing the results of the elections tomorrow.

Meanwhile Fijivillage witnessed two students who came to vote however their names were not found in the voter list.
Dawai says that they cannot allow a student to vote if their names are not in the list.
He says that they work according to the list given by the University and if a student’s name is not in it, than they will not be able to do anything about it.
