The Fiji National Provident Fund has once again received international commendation for its responsiveness to its stakeholders’ needs, as well as developing online services to ease doing business with its customers.
They received two awards at the recent International Social Security Association’s, Regional Social Security Forum for Asia and the Pacific, held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from October 2 to 4.
FNPF Chief Executive Officer Jaoji Koroi received the awards as part of Good Practice Awards Asia and the Pacific Competition 2018.
The awards are the Certificate of Merit Awards for Practices in managing natural disasters which is delivery of service in times of need and the Certificate of Merit Awards for Employer Online Portal.
This is the seventh time in six years that FNPF has been acknowledged by the Association for various initiatives, including the Pension Reforms.
Koroi says that FNPF has implemented various initiatives especially with better digital platforms to ensure that their services are on par with their stakeholders changing needs.
He says the Employers Online Portal is one of the innovative ways that FNPF has capitalized on changing technology.
Koroi says it has made a difference to the way Employers conduct their superannuation business and resulted in the timely payment of member contributions.
The Forum and awards are held every three years.
