The Fiji National Provident Fund says it is encouraging to see more Fund members showing interest in their retirement savings and how they can influence their future from these savings.
FNPF CEO Jaoji Koroi also says that FNPF’s “It’s Easy to Save” Retirement Expo is proving to be an event worth attending, as it provides members an opportunity to better plan for their future.
Koroi says the conversation pertaining to FNPF or retirement savings is slowly changing, with more members now engaging on how they can increase their savings for a financially secure and independent future.
He says previously most members were asking how quickly they can get their funds from FNPF.
Koroi says they have members who have been repaying funds they had withdrawn over the years because they have been provided with the information that has helped them make an informed decision to achieve their savings goals.
The Expo will be held in Taveuni from tomorrow to Saturday.
Services that will be provided include retirement planning and counselling, registration for additional contributions, voluntary membership scheme registration (minor and adult), registration for digital services, update nomination and memorandum of administration and the FNPF/Government Village Housing Scheme.
