Fiji Labour Party candidate Dr. Rohit Kishore has lodged a complaint against a member of the party who allegedly abused him over the phone following his comments in relation to Mahendra Chaudhry.
Dr. Kishore said that the main reason for their party’s poor performance in this year’s General Elections was Mahendra Chaudhry.
He further said that during their campaign period, some supporters questioned why Chaudhry was still the leader of the party.
Dr Kishore claims that he received the abusive calls following these comments.
He said the member allegedly told him that he was told to make the call and for Kishore not to make those comments as he had no right.
Meanwhile, Police Spokesperson, Ana Naisoro confirmed that they have received the complaint and they are now investigating the matter.
