A 40-year-old FICAC officer has been charged with 3 counts of obtaining financial advantage by deception and 3 counts of serious computer offences.
Police say it is alleged that the FICAC officer had informed three people that he could arrange overseas work in exchange for money and also modified e‑tickets for their travel.
When the discrepancies were discovered by one of the complainants, a report was lodged which was handled by the CID team.
Spokesperson Ana Naisoro says the FICAC officer will be produced in court later today.
