The Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption is continuing investigations into allegations of corruption in LTA and is working with the LTA Board in dealing with matters of corrupt activities.
The commission is issuing a reminder to all drivers and driving schools to conduct affairs with the Land Transport Authority in an ethical manner.
It reiterates that there will be no shortcuts in attaining a drivers license or a Defensive Driving Certificate.
This comes after the Commission charged LTA Officers and private individuals for Obtaining Defensive Driving Certificates and driving licenses without following due processes of the LTA.
FICAC also reminds members of the public not to offer any bribes to public officers for public services and goods.
