The Fijian Elections Office has announced the expansion of the Know Your Elections Awareness Program to business houses.
Acting Director Strategic Development and Communications of the Elections Office Edwin Nand says that this program has been successfully running in the rural areas.
Nand says that the Know Your Elections Awareness is an apolitical exercise and the elections office is urging the employers to contact them and get engaged without any delay.
He says they started off with awareness in the rural areas and on a daily basis they have 45 awareness teams out on the ground.
Nand says that there is a boat leaving today for Lau.
