FEA removes downed power lines along Walu Bay

Fiji Electricity Authority workers have removed power lines off the road at Walu Bay after a truck ripped off the lines from the FEA post.

Police spokesperson, Atunaisa Sokomuri who is at the scene says the Walu Bay Road is now open to drivers.

Sokomuri says there is no report of any injuries.

He says the truck had another vehicle loaded at the back when it ripped off the lines running across from the Korovou Correctional Service Quarters to the other side of the road.
