People are to expect road works to finish by March next year.
The current rainy weather conditions have impacted most of the road upgrade works that have been ongoing for the past few months.
Fiji Roads Authority CEO Jonathan Moore says there are some things with road works that you cannot do in the rain like the laying asphalt and concrete.
He says the rain had been very intense for the past few days.
Moore adds that rain imbalances the amount of water in the concrete and hence affects its strength.
He has also confirmed that the Nabua Roundabout may also be finished by March next year.
FRA CEO says the two lanes next to the Nabua roundabout will be completed in phases.
He says once the inner lane is fixed the outer lane will be closed for repair.
Moore says once the concrete has been put on it takes about 7‑14 days to set.
The FRA CEO says FRA is trying its best to ensure that the traffic flows well on the road.
