The Nadi Weather Office has advised that there will be more rain experienced this afternoon into the night and tomorrow.
Director Ravin Kumar says people should still be on alert as most of river levels are high, with more rain coming in the afternoon.
Kumar says areas more prone to flooding are the upper catchment areas, or the upper side of rivers and since high tide will be at 6.45 tonight, there is a risk of flooding in low lying areas.
