People using the Samabula Pedestrian crossing lights can expect the lights to be working by next week.
The Fiji Roads Authority has confirmed they will try and fix the Samabula Pedestrian Traffic Lights on the 27th of this month.
Acting CEO for Fiji Roads Authority Robert Sen says the Traffic Signal at the Ratu Mara and Princes Road intersection is working and has been working all this while.
The only fault is with the pedestrian light that guides pedestrians to cross.
This particular issue will be dealt with on Sunday 27 August as the traffic signals must be shut down completely as the team needs to work on repairing the electrical cables that run underground.
He says the work was initially scheduled for Sunday 20th August however the FRA Traffic team had to attend to other emergency faults yesterday.
