There are 113,595 people living with disabilities in Fiji and they face a lot of discrimination and discrimination has many faces.
These were the sentiments of Fiji Disabled People's Federation President Joshko Wakaniyasi who says for a person with disability, excluding a person from certain activities is also an act of bullying.
He says another act of bullying for a person with disability is name calling whereby people are branded because of their disability.
Wakaniyasi says a lot of this happens within the school system as well as within employment structures.
He says they are working to provide training and awareness not only to the victims but also to the perpetrators on how to work with persons with disabilities.
