The Laughing Samoans’ Eteuati Ete is returning to Fiji to join the WOWS Kids Fiji 13 days Walk around Viti Levu to raise funds and create awareness for children with cancer and other life-threatening conditions.
Ete said he is excited to be part of this fundraising event but also nervous about being able to complete such an epic journey.
WOWS Kids chairman, Makrava Wilson said the walk is spilt into 13 daily sections with an average distance of 35 kilometers per day totaling up to 462 kilometers.
He said the WOWS Kids have also organized a number of stop overs at different locations on the duration of walk.
The walk will start from Suva and will proceed towards the West on the 5th of next month while the final leg will be from Nausori to Suva followed by an International SOS Head Shave and free WOWS Kids concert at Sukuna Park.
Wilson added some rugby players from Australia and New Zealand will also be participating in the International SOS Head Shave which will be on the 18th of next month.
Interested individual participants will be required to register with $25 and they will have to set a sponsorship target of $100.
