Emotional day for 14 month old cancer patient

It was an emotional day for the father of a 14-month-old cancer patient as they received an early Christmas present and celebrated the day with other young cancer patients.

14-month-old Aron Birbal’s father, Atil Birbal, said celebrating an early Christmas with other cancer patients and the WOWS Kids Fiji made him realize that they are not the only ones going through a hard time.

Birbal said seeing cancer patients celebrate Christmas together gives them hope to tell their children that they still have a life to live for.

He said even though children are suffering from this deadly disease, parents must continue to have a positive impact on their children and live a happy life.

WOWS Kids Fiji today handed gifts to all the 12 cancer patients who were present during the celebration at the new WOWS Resource Centre in Rewa Street, Suva.
