The Fijian Elections Office has received 13,574 applications in the first phase of the Recruitment Drive.
Stakeholder Awareness Coordinator, Edwin Nand says looking at statistics from the first phase of recruitment, the total number of applicants who passed the test is 12,669.
Nand says 10,113 applicants have completed training as of November 30th.
He says they have received applications from 522 teachers, where 299 applications were received from the Central Division, 153 for the Western Division and 70 applications were received in the Northern Division.
Nand says they are targeting 300 applications from teachers per division and since this exercise ends today, teachers who wish to apply can also visit the recruitment centres which will be open during Phase two.
