Concerns have been raised again regarding the amount of drunkards that are found wandering the streets in the early hours of the morning.
Fijivillage witnessed an incident this morning where a man believed to be in his 30's was passed out along Waimanu Road.
Another man who was walking along the road was seen stripping the drunkard of his precious belongings while about 7 other drunkards were making their way up the street.
Many drunkards were also seen crossing the road and not caring about any oncoming vehicles.
Meanwhile, some drunkards were involved in a brawl at Marks Street in Suva at around 8pm last night.
We are yet to receive a comment from the police regarding the brawl.
Meanwhile, Police Spokesperson Ana Naisoro says that their operations team will continue to patrol in the early hours of the morning in order to help address these issues.
This was a normal occurrence every weekend in the past and the Police Commissioner had then directed his officers to act swiftly in ensuring that the drunkards do not cause trouble on the streets.
