A man is admitted at the CWM Hospital after he allegedly stabbed a 42-year-old man with a broken liquor bottle during a dispute in a bus.
The victim was travelling with his wife to Suva last Friday night when the suspect who was allegedly drunk was joking and talking to the victim’s wife.
When the 42-year-old victim confronted the man, the suspect stabbed him on his chest.
During the fight, the suspect also received injuries.
The victim was treated and sent home while the suspect is still under observation.
Police spokesperson, Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri says they will question the suspect when he is released from hospital.
