The driver of the vehicle who is alleged to have caused the death of a 44-year-old man yesterday along Drasa Flat Kings Road has been questioned and released.
The victim was cycling towards Rakiraki when he was allegedly hit by the vehicle driven by a 45-year-old woman who was trying to overtake a cane truck.
According to the Police, the driver will be charged after they receive the post mortem results.
The post mortem is currently underway.
