Driver involved in fatal accident questioned and released by Police

The 21-year-old driver who was involved in a tragic accident at Sakoca road on Tuesday has been questioned and released by police.

A 39‑year‑old man died after the 21‑year‑old man driving a 5 tonne truck allegedly ran him over.

Police say the 39‑year‑old man was talking to the 21‑year‑old man along the road when an argument started.

The 39‑year‑old man allegedly tried to attack the 21‑year‑old when the incident happened.

Investigations continue.
