The 22-year-old driver who was involved in the fatal accident at Centerpoint last Friday has been charged.
He is charged with one count of dangerous driving occasioning death, dangerous driving occasioning bodily harm and also dangerous driving.
He will appear at the Nasinu Magistrate court today.
While travelling to Nausori, the 22-year-old driver allegedly lost control of the vehicle and hit a taxi travelling in the opposite lane driven by a 47-year-old man.
The 47-year-old taxi driver died the next day after he sustained serious injuries in the accident.
