Police are waiting for the doctor's clearance to interview 72-year-old Panapasa Limavatu who was the driver of the van that was involved in an accident that had claimed the life of 51-year-old Joeli Bilo in Natadola last Friday.
Police had earlier confirmed that Bilo who was driving a private vehicle was returning from Nadiri Village when he was hit by an oncoming van from the other lane.
The van had earlier hit a cow and veered off to the other lane.
Limavatu is still admitted in the Lautoka Hospital in a stable condition.
