The BSP Fiji Human Resources Institute Convention has been boosted by a $10,000 donation by the USP Pacific TAFE.
While presenting the cheque, Vice Chancellor Rajesh Chandra says the donation is to increase relationship between universities and the workforce sector.
Chandra says the relationship will assist both parties in terms of students preparation for the job market.
Meanwhile the President of the Fiji Human Resources Institute, Kameli Batiweli says he hopes that this will build the capacity and build individual ability in the work force.
The Award recognizes individuals who have been contributing towards the development of Human Resources in their organisations and rewards those who have been tirelessly working to look after this indispensable asset.
The BSP Fiji Human Resources Institute Convention will be held at the Sofitel Fiji Resort in October.
