It was an emotional day for 26 year old Josaia Domo from Tagaqe village at Baravi in Nadroga as he was presented with the Baton of Honour Award and the Highest Outstanding Performance medal by the Commissioner of Nauru Police Force Corey George Caleb during the Police pass out Parade at Nasova.
Domo says he managed to achieve this through support from his family, friends, instructors and his team Delta after an extensive 16 weeks of Police training.
Commissioner Caleb told the 211 new constables that in this profession they always will have to do what is right and work together to succeed in life no matter how difficult their task may be.
He also says that they must thrive to be the best, believe in themselves and rise when there are challenges.
Out of the 211 recruit constables, seven are from the Nauru Police Force and six from the Tuvalu Police Force who were selected from their countries to train in this 16 weeks course in Fiji.
