Doctors from India arrive next week to screen patients suffering from NCDs

A team of doctors from India will be in Fiji next week to screen patients suffering from Non-Communicable Disease.

The Ministry of Health says that only patients who have been referred by their district health facilities will be screened by the team.

It says doctors will be screening patients for cardiac, orthopedic and neurology issues as well as cancer.

The team will be at the Nausori Health Center next Thursday, Labasa Hospital on Friday, Saturday in Savusavu and on the 31st of July to the 1st of August the team will be at the CWM Hospital.
