Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama has told the Fiji Heads of Mission not to wait for the opportunities to come to them but to create them for Fiji.
Speaking at the opening of the Annual Heads of Mission meeting at Holiday Inn, Suva yesterday, Bainimarama told the Fiji Heads of Mission that a Fijian exporter or importer must be treated as a VIP when they enter any of the Fiji missions overseas because there is no doubt that these people are crucial to Fiji’s economic well‑being.
Bainimarama said Fiji is on the move and is open for business.
He urged all Fiji diplomats to place more emphasis on expanding trade, finance and investment links as part of their key objectives.
