Attorney General and Finance Minister, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum has stressed to the students of Natabua High School that they should not abuse educational tools like computers.

While speaking at the launch of the Microsoft IT Academy at Natabua High School this morning, Sayed-Khaiyum says government has set up a number of telecenters around the country where schools are given computers, web cams and other items which students can use during school hours.

A Digital Literacy program designed by Microsoft has been installed at Natabua High School which will have an online curriculum on various lessons.

This program has been introduced by a Melbourne based non‑governmental organisation, Reach for Your Future Foundation in partnership with the Ministry of Education.

The founding President of the Foundation, Ganesh Sen who is a former Natabua High School student says they will first provide accreditation to the teachers who will then pass it on to the students.

He said this program will be introduced in some schools for free.
