The Fiji United Freedom Party has stated that a document being circulated by one of their candidates is not an official manifesto of the party.
When questioned on the things being promised in the document on Straight Talk last night, the United Freedom Party President, Jagath Karunaratne said that these things will not be in the party manifesto.
In the document which was distributed in campaign meetings in Nasinu, it is said that every school leaver will get full scholarship to get a degree and then get jobs after they graduate.
It also had promises like price reductions of food, electricity, tobacco, water bill, town and city rates by 50 percent.
Karunaratne said these should be disregarded by people. This is part of the interview from Straight Talk.
