A Digital Literacy program designed by Microsoft is soon expected to be introduced in Primary and Secondary schools which will have an online curriculum on various lessons.
This program will be introduced in Fiji by a Melbourne based non-governmental organisation, Reach 4 Your Future Foundation in partnership with the Ministry of Education.
The founding President of the Foundation, Ganesh Sen said they will first provide accreditation to the teachers who will then pass it on to the students.
He said this program will be introduced in schools for free.
Meanwhile, Acting Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Education, Basundra Kumar said they are expected to sign an agreement with the Foundation soon.
She said the foundation may install the Digital Literacy program in 15 schools in a year.
