Good news for 400 students of Vanuatu based in Fiji.

Digicel Fiji has announced that it will provide free credit to the students so they are able to call their families and friends back home.

The kind gesture comes in the wake of Vanuatu being ravaged by Cyclone Pam two weeks ago.

Digicel Fiji’s Public Relations Manager Satish Narain said they are happy to be able to provide the free credit for these students, as they know they are facing problems in trying to get in contact with their loved ones back home.

Narain hopes that the free 25 minutes calls to Vanuatu will help these students.

USP based Vanuatu Students President Henry Bill said he wants to convey their sincere gratitude to Digicel for this 25 minutes free credit to call their parents back home.

He said they have been struggling to reach their loved ones back home.

However, with this free credit, they are able to contact their loved ones in Vanuatu.
