Digicel Fiji commercial hugely popular on social media

Digicel Fiji made history this week with the most ‘Liked’ locally produced commercial on social media.          

Digicel Fiji said following the release of the video commercial last week on Facebook, which is called ‘It’s Time to Move’ has become the most viewed and shared local television commercial in Fiji in less than one week.

Digicel Fiji said with over 8,000 ‘Likes’ the video is demonstrating the power of social media and the popularity of smart phones in Fiji.

The company said the video was filmed on the streets of Suva in June where 26 local performers featured in the video who were from local dance groups and a number of them were selected from an extensive talent search run by Digicel for ‘Fiji’s Next Bollywood Star.  

Digicel Head of Marketing, Sheryl Singh said they are pleased with the incredible response.
