Digicel Fiji today provided lunch to 20 vision impaired children who attend the Fiji School of the Blind at Vatuwaqa to celebrate Diwali.

CEO Mike Greig says this is part of their initiative to work with the community.

Greig says they hope that this would bring a smile to the children’s faces and that they try to reach out to minority groups or groups that need help more then others.

Assistant Matron Christiana Turaga says its true that we have different religions but we all have compassion.

Turaga says that many organizations visit the children, providing gifts, clothing and food and they bring smiles to their faces.
