Digicel Fiji has today announced its support for the Fiji Cancer Society during its 10th Anniversary celebrations.

Digicel Fiji CEO Mike Greig says they are delighted to support the Fiji Cancer Society in their signature awareness and fundraising month for breast cancer ‘Pinktober'.

Greig says that Digicel will be part of the three hour free concerts that will be held in Suva, Labasa, Savusavu and Nadi organised by Fiji's popular Vude queen, Laisa Vulakoro and a group of top local artists raising awareness and funds for Pinktober.

He revealed that Digicel volunteers will be going around with donation cans during the four concerts, where members of the public can freely contribute towards this worthy cause.

The month‑long celebrations will start with a free open air public concert this Friday at Ratu Sukuna Park in Suva, and on the 19th of this month in Labasa, on the 20th in Savusavu and a final show in Nadi on the 26th of this month.

Greig says the funds raised will be well used in the fight against cancer and they are happy to support the Fiji Cancer Society for another year as well as in the future.

All concerts will start at 4pm except in Savusavu that will start at 10am on Saturday, 20th October.
