The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions will hold monthly day‑long workshops throughout the country for all prosecutors.
Director of Public Prosecutions, Christopher Pryde said the DPP recognizes the need to continually educate and train people who prosecute cases in the courts of Fiji.
He added that this includes not only State lawyers and Police prosecutors but also people from other agencies that bring criminal prosecutions to court such as officers from the Ministry of Health, Labour, Water Authority and Land Transport Authority.
