Princes Road from Cunningham intersection to Khalsa Road intersection will be reduced to a single lane tomorrow to allow Fiji Roads Authority to carry out second coat sealing work.
General Manager Network Operations and Maintenance, Aram Goes says works will start from 7am tomorrow from the Cunningham end and continue towards Khalsa intersection with sealing expected to be completed before 5pm.
He adds that the additional sealing works are essential in ensuring the recently constructed pavements are waterproofed to protect the investment under the increasing traffic loadings experienced in Suva.
Goes says although these works do not restrict accessibility, motorists are requested to factor in extra travel time in their journey, adhere to the speed limits and observe all road signs.
He has also highlighted that full traffic management will be present on site to guide motorists safely through the site.
