Police continue to crack down on the people involved in robberies and receiving stolen items.

A number of raids have been conducted at the homes of those suspected to be involved in a series of robberies as well as alleged receivers of stolen items over the last few weeks.

Police Chief of Intelligence and Investigations, ACP Henry Brown says they have also managed to recover several items.

He is requesting those who have been victims of robberies to contact the Valelevu Police Station on 9905 890, 9905 574 or 9905 461.

A raid has been conducted in Nadera at the home of a 40-year-old man who is believed to have been involved in a number of robberies. Items recovered include electronic goods, mobile phones, laptops, power tools, jewelry and other assorted items.

Several mobile phones, laptops and television screens have been seized in other raids in the Central and Southern Division.

Those who have been victims of burglaries are also requested to call the Criminal Investigations Department on 9905 219.

Investigators continue to focus on those suspected to be receiving stolen items.

Officers around the Division continue to step up investigations into aggravated robberies and home invasions in a bid to ensure that the criminal elements involved in these illegal acts are brought to justice.
