A 35-year-old man who allegedly murdered a 24-year-old man in March this year appeared before Suva High Court Judge Justice Salesi Temo today.
Gauna Colati allegedly punched the man outside Suva Handicraft Centre.
Colati’s lawyer Michael Fesaitu requested for a suspended sentence, however, Judge Temo replied that if a person punches a drunkard man and if he dies, the person is going inside.
Judge Temo also said if someone fights and give the other person a punch and if he falls on the ground, he makes his name in the boxing ring, not on the streets.
Colati is remanded till the 15th of December.
