Corporate bodies give more money to Fiji 7s team

Corporate bodies handed over cheques to the Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama for the Gold medal winning Fiji 7s team this afternoon.

Fiji Water Ltd presented $170,000, Jacks Fiji Ltd gave $34,000, Airport Terminal Services Fiji gave $45,000 while Fijian Holdings Limited presented a cheque of $51,000.

Fijian Holdings Limited has also opened FHL investment trust accounts and has given a $500 fixed deposit for each player.

Lord's Jewelers has also given 13 silver chains with silver crucifix for the players.

State‑owned broadcaster FBC also gave money however they say the amount is a secret.

Semi Kunatani also received his $30,000 cheque.
