Consumers encouraged to report issues to Commerce Commission

The Fijian Commerce Commission is calling on tenants that are facing issues with their rent to report it to the Commission.

CEO Joel Abraham says consumers are encouraged to come forward not only in the rental property area but in other areas as well because if it is affecting them then it will definitely affect many more people.

He says they are doing market inspections in rental areas and people need to highlight these issues so it can be investigated.

Abraham says the Commission is now conducting awareness programmes in schools to empower them on their rights as future consumers.
