Construction works start at Lautoka Hospital

People of Lautoka will soon receive a much better health service as the construction work has started at the Lautoka Hospital.

Construction work at the Accidents and Emergency Department has commenced at the Lautoka Hospital and the first phase of work will be carried out over the next three weeks.

The Accident and Emergency Unit has been relocated to the main foyer and the General Outpatients Department has been shifted to the right side of the hospital.

The relocation and pathways have been clearly marked at the hospital so that the patients can be directed to the point of service without difficulty.

Meanwhile, the new department is expected to be completed and operational by September 2015.
