Construction on the Rewa River Water Supply Scheme Project will begin at Viria village in Naitasiri by the end of September.
Water Authority of Fiji says the project is in its design phase and construction will begin right after it finishes.
More than 300,000 Fijians will benefit from this project and will cost $266 million.
This is the single largest infrastructure project ever managed by Water Authority of Fiji and will be fully operational by 2021.
